UK Graphic Awards set to celebrate best in wide format printing

A gala dinner in Birmingham on October 15th will host the announcement of the 4th UK Graphic Awards winners.

The UK Graphic Awards will bring together members of the wide format printing community to celebrate the best in creativity and talent as decided by a jury of their peers. Experienced wide-format professionals from around the world make up the judging panel. Their brief was to recognise the most exceptional projects and their impact on the broader commercial and social community.

Ten project categories showcase nominated entries spanning diverse areas like live events, branded interiors, construction, museums and galleries, retail windows, in-store retail, leisure and hospitality, and exhibitions. There are two other cross-sector awards; The Green Award looking at environmentally conscious projects and Roll Out, which recognises the work and partnerships that go into large campaigns. It still looks for the creativity and diversity of the project but also looks at logistics, organisation and collaboration.

Additionally, there are categories celebrating Wide Format Printer of the Year, for larger and smaller companies, while the Rising Star award celebrates the natural flair and potential of those who have worked in the industry for 3 years or less. The final category is Best in Show, crowning the overall winner from the 10 project categories.

Each award category has sponsorship from a leading company in the wide-format industry. These include M-TWO Search, which is sponsoring the Rising Star awards again. Matt Hanley says, “Sponsoring the Graphic Awards is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the success and collaboration that drives our industry forward. For M-TWO Search, sponsoring the Rising Star category for the second time reflects our deep commitment to nurturing new talent. Bringing fresh perspectives and skills into the large-format print sector is essential for its continued growth. We’re thrilled to support the rising stars who represent the future of our industry.”

Eye on Display’s Jack Gocher will be posting results and more live from the floor. He’ll be interviewing winners and catching post-announcement comments.
