Roland DG hosted DG DIMENSE Unleashed: Art Meets Decor event on November 28, 2024, at its Creative Centre and dedicated DG DIMENSE EMEA hub, in Serris, Paris. Designed to inspire and engage the interior decor community, this gathering brought together 11 business leaders, interior designers, and creators from across Europe to explore the potential of DG DIMENSE technology.
The event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to experience the Dimensor S printer first hand. The Dimensor S combines printing and embossing in a single pass, creating 3D textures in wallpaper, canvases, paintable wall coverings, and even digital concrete. Attendees discovered how this technology bridges the gap between science and art, unlocking creative potential for the interior decor industry.
The DG DIMENSE Unleashed Product Showcase, led by Sandra Morkevičė, Head of Region at DG DIMENSE, and Michel Van Vliet, VP of Business Development at DG DIMENSE, featured live demonstrations and a guided walk-through of the Dimensor S’s applications. From wallpaper patterns to textured, paintable designs, the showcase emphasised how this technology can be employed in interior decoration.
Sophie van Winden and Simone Gordon, co-founders of Owl, led the Inspiring Interiors: Top Five Trends for 2025 session. Their predictions for upcoming interior design included themes such as Modern Retro and Pattern in Nature, encouraging attendees to consider how tactile and textured designs could bring these trends to life.
During the Paintable Dimense Decor Workshop, attendees explored the Dimensor S’s interactive capabilities. Guided by DG DIMENSE experts, participants created personalised paintable wall coverings, experiencing the tactile magic of DG DIMENSE technology.
