Roland DG today announces the launch of its new robust and reliable large format UV flatbed printer, the EU-1000MF.

Capable of printing vibrant and detailed graphics directly onto a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates, the EU-1000MF enables print providers to maximise their opportunities and profits. The features and functionality of the EU-1000MF make it ideal for a wide range of applications, including creating signs, exhibitions, interior decoration, and special products. Originally developed with specific growth markets in mind, the printer has today launched across EMEA due to growing demand for it and it having best price-to-performance ratio in its category.
The EU-1000MF is designed to take full advantage of Roland DG’s specially formulated GREENGUARD Gold-certified E-US UV inks, which have been specifically developed for this printer and deliver stunning graphic results at a lower cost than other large-format UV printer inks. These cost-effective high-density inks bring out the best in the EU-1000MF, producing incredible prints. Coming in a choice of ink configurations including high opacity white, and gloss -the EU-1000MF makes it easy to incorporate striking textured and dimensional effects into prints.
The printer optimises performance to match modern printing needs. It features innovative technologies, premium components and a range of advanced features that optimise performance, speed up workflow and ensure safe operation. Users have the choice between six or four print heads, in a two-row staggered configuration.

For precision printing, the EU-1000MF is equipped with a Four Zone Electronic Vacuum Bed that automatically adds air suction and support to maximise media stability. Consistent board and panel placement is assured by Material Alignment Pins, which appear at the touch of a button for automatic alignment of the print to the source point.
Users will also appreciate the SAi Flexiprint Plus Roland DG Edition software included with the EU-1000MF. This powerful and easy-to-use RIP includes Pantone® libraries, tile, intuitive scaling and cropping, as well as a multitude of additional tools and features that improve print quality, usability and production capacity.
