Held at Italy’s Monza Circuit, the event debuts the new TrueVIS XP-640 large format flatbed and TY-300 Direct-to-Film Printer
Roland DG today unveiled its most advanced lineup of products at the Roland DG Grand Print event. The event showcased two new products; the debut of the TrueVIS XP-640, Roland DG’s latest eco-solvent printer and the TY-300 Direct-to-Film Printer.
Held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza Circuit in collaboration with BWT Alpine Formula One Team, the event served as a global stage for media, dealers, and influencers to experience Roland DG’s latest offerings. The event offered live product demonstrations, panel discussions, and adrenaline-fuelled Pit Stop challenges, where attendees witnessed the speed and features of the new products.

Roland describe the TrueVIS XP-640 as the star of their latest lineup, redefining high-speed productivity and exceptional print quality. With print speeds of up to 15m²/h, a wider colour gamut enabled by red, orange, and green inks, the new machine also has features like automatic media gap adjustment and a 7-inch touchscreen.

On seeing the new machine, he said, “The new printer demonstrated phenomenal speeds in CMYK x 2 mode. The quality of the colours and the speed are brilliant. The reds and oranges in particular really pop on the 8 colour ink configuration.”
He continues, “Roland demonstrated speeds of 60 smph at CMYK x 2 onto banner vinyl. This will be ideal for high volume sign shops.”
Alongside the TrueVIS XP-640, Roland DG introduced the TY-300 Direct-to-Film Printer featuring vibrant colour reproduction and, claim Roland, operational speeds 45% faster than competitors. Its environmentally certified inks and automated maintenance system provide a more sustainable and efficient solution for high-demand environments.
