Firstlite LED’s FL Dual ultra-thin lens system provides improved light spread for shallow channel letters

This is an advanced lighting solution for channel letter applications that features shallow return depths and narrow stroke widths that improve appearance and visibility and increase energy efficiency

Ultra-slim design for easy installation
Designed specifically for the unique challenges of channel letters, the FL Dual has an ultra-slim profile that fits in letters with return depths as shallow as 40mm. Its compact design streamlines installation while maximising performance without compromising on brightness.
“Our new solution features a 3 to 1 lens to provide a broader spread of light and minimise the need for multiple modules. This also makes it a cost-effective and efficient choice for businesses aiming to improve their signage,” explained Megan.
Outstanding brightness and uniformity
The FL Dual delivers bright, even lighting, and removes hot spots and shadows, even in letters with thin strokes. “With the capability to use up to 20 modules in a single run, this solution is great for signage that needs consistent lighting across its entire area,” said Megan.
Energy efficiency meets durability
Despite its powerful output, The FL Dual consumes minimal energy, reducing operational costs without compromising performance. Designed for long-lasting durability, the two-chip LED module has a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, making it a reliable solution for both indoor and outdoor applications. With its IP66 rating, the module is fully weather-resistant, and built to endure the harshest environmental conditions.
FL Dual technical specifications
The FL Dual offers a voltage and power output of 12V / 0.72W, with dimensions of 53mm x 18.8mm x 7.4mm (L x W x H) and 2 LEDs per module. It is available in Cool White (6500K) and Warm White (3000K) colour options, delivering 122 lumens per module in Cool White and 116 lumens per module in Warm White.
With a 165° viewing angle and module spacing of 150mm (centre to centre), it supports a maximum of 20 modules per run. The IP66 rating ensures weather resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use. The system is compatible with drivers powering 37 modules with a 30W driver (26.64 watts) or 75 modules with a 60W driver (54.0 watts).
