swissQprint is giving customers the chance to see first-hand the productivity and versatility of its award-winning Kudu flat-bed printer, with the arrival of a demonstration machine at its UK headquarters in Bracknell.
Clients can now book a demonstration with swissQprint UK to see the impressive 3.2×2 metre true flatbed, with roll-to-roll option, combining high volume production with precision.
The Kudu was recently crowned ‘Best flatbed/hybrid printer > 250 m²/h’ at the EDP (European Digital Press) Association Awards and is already proving popular in the UK. Following the first UK installation of a Kudu at MediaCo in March, swissQprint has already received an additional three orders for the Kudu to be installed by the end of October.
With productivity of up to 304 square metres per hour and 10 colour channels with CMYKLcLm, white, varnish, neon yellow and neon pink, the demonstration Kudu will allow clients to experience the speed and versatility of its high-impact 1350 dpi print resolution.
As with all swissQprint’s flatbed printers, the Kudu is certified first-class energy efficient, consuming 2.2 kilowatt-hours of electricity, the same as an average kettle. This, combined with swissQprint’s renowned reliability, ensures users benefit from the Kudu’s low operating costs.
Erskine Stewart, Managing Director of swissQprint UK, said:
“We are delighted with the interest in the award-winning Kudu. The fact that we can now show its many benefits to our clients at our Bracknell demonstration centre is great news and will ensure that the Kudu continues to meet the demand for high-volume, high-quality print production.”
The new demonstration Kudu joins a Nyala 4 and will be a focus for its Open Days on September 13-14th, with more details on these to follow soon. In the meantime, businesses and users interested in booking a demonstration of the Kudu are invited to contact swissQprint.
