The print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides, welcomes its newest member Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd
Konica Minolta joins Two Sides growing partnership of supporters and collaborators from a diverse range of sectors including forestry, pulp and paper manufacturing, packaging, inks, pre-press, press, finishing, publishing, printing, envelopes and postal operators.
Konica Minolta has committed to becoming net zero by 2050, driving their global CO2 emissions to zero compared to fiscal year 2005 levels in procurement, production, distribution, sales and service and product use. What’s more, by 2050, it aims to make its products from more than 90% of circulated resources (recycled materials and biomaterials).

By joining Two Sides, Konica Minolta has access to a large library of co-brandable communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information, sustainability advice, and events.
Biennially, Two Sides conducts a Trend Tracker Survey into public preconceptions and beliefs. The latest survey (published in 2023) showed that 41% of people surveyed believe paper is a wasteful product. However, figures from Cepi (Confederation of European Paper Industries) key statistics 2022 indicate that 49% of the fibrous raw material used in Europe’s paper industry comes from paper for recycling. and in Europe, 71% of paper (European Paper Recycling Council, Monitoring Report, 2022) and 83% of cardboard packaging (Eurostat, 2021) is recycled.
