Managing director Nic Bessent told us, “We outgrew our current unit four years ago, but with the high costs in London, we have had to make the best of what we have until we found the right place for us. It’s been a tough waiting game, and we have been very patient. Over the past few years, we’ve had a few deals fall through, which prolonged our search… until now!”

Cube Branding has become one of the shining success stories of brand communications. Nic explains, “Our mission is to bring unique ideas and concepts to life by creating authentic brand identities that truly connect with audiences. We strive to unlock the full potential of our clients’ brands with innovative strategies, creative design, and impactful storytelling.”

He adds, “Our primary value is simple yet profound: ‘If we say we can do it, we do it.’ There are no compromises. We are dedicated to building lasting relationships, inspiring trust, and driving success for our clients, ensuring their brands stand the test of time.”

And this is their strength. They do what they do very well. “If you want branding, you want Cube Branding. Whether you’re one of the biggest names in the industry or the man in the van needing a branded vehicle, we deliver top-notch service and quality. We pride ourselves on being the go-to choice in our corner of the industry, ensuring every client gets the best possible branding solution,” says Nic.

This has led to a snowball effect where big brands have found Cube and propelled them into new and exciting sectors where they have consistently delivered top-tier work. “Our commitment to excellence keeps clients coming back, solidifying our reputation as the best in the business.”

Bigger and better

This mentality has driven the company’s growth and, until now, they have been bursting at the seams of their old premises. With a 14,000sqft space to move into, the excitement levels are through the roof. “We can do whatever we want in this space to create an amazing workplace where staff will want to come, grow and let creativity take over,” says Nic.

He continues, “It enables us to attract new potential clients while continuing to serve our existing ones. And to be honest… we can fit a few more buses in 😁.”

Nic sees the new building as the key to building and developing his team. “I know it’s a cliché, but people really re the number one asset of a company, and this is particularly true for us. With this improved, purpose-built space, the team will be more time-efficient without the restrictions they have had to deal with recently. Also, most of the team is closer to home, which will help promote a better work-life balance.”

Matt Hanley from M-TWO Recruitment agrees, “I have worked with Nic for many years, and Cube is a great company to work with and for. The new building offers them a better space in a more accessible location, and this will be a huge advantage when retaining and recruiting great people.”

The bigger space also gives Cube the chance to invest in new equipment that will open up further opportunities to work with their existing and future clients. “We plan to make this into a creative branded workplace that showcases all of our design skills and implementation capabilities. We want our clients to come and see it and be so impressed they will want us to help them become like us!”

Wrapping busses like this is why Cube needs more space! They just want get even more of them in at the same time!

Looking to the future, Cube’s plans will be industry and client-led. Nic explains, “We have adapted and innovated for the best part of two decades and we will continue to do what we do best. We just need a few months to unpack the boxes and get to work creating a space like nothing else this industry has seen.”

Nic concludes, “I’m a born builder, and I take on Grand Designs-style projects as a side hustle. What excites me most about our new building is the opportunity to create a dynamic, creative environment for my team to thrive and shout about. Our goal is not to be the biggest, but with sustainable and steady growth, we will continue to be the best.”
