CMYUK has announced that it will be attending The Print Show, running between September 17-19th at the NEC in Birmingham.
Located directly opposite the entrance to Hall 17, the CMYUK stand (AO1) will feature the Canon Colorado M5W UVgel LED printer, JWEI JCUT 1625 digital cutting table, and Fiery Prep-it software.
CMYUK will demonstrate the Canon Colorado M5W, from Canon’s new M-Series printer series. At 1.6m wide, this represents the 4th generation of the Canon Colorado underpinned by Canon’s own UV Gel technology. Launched in March last year, the M-series offers a modular, configurable upgrade platform that enables customers to add new features to their base models as and when required – all of which can be done in the field. Additional upgrades include white ink, FLXfinish+ for gloss and matt or a combination of the two in a single pass, double-sided printing, and a magnetic media kit.
Andrew Day, Large Format Graphics Channel Manager at Canon UK, said, “We’re excited to be supporting our Partner CMYUK at The Print Show this year and demonstrating our commitment to working with large format graphics producers to evolve their production and enable them to exploit new growth opportunities
The JWEI JCUT digital cutting tables offer accuracy, reliability, and an array of superior features at an investment level that has previously never been attainable, says CYMUK. Available in three sizes – 1600mm x 2500mm, 2100mm x 3100mm, 3200mm x 3000mm, the largest sized table supports super-wide digital printed textile cutting production in both the mid-range and premium industrial printer markets. It also features an automatic feeding conveyor, an 1800kW liquid-cooled router for powerful milling, an Auto Tool Changer (ATC), a range of cutting tools and a modularised cutting head that accommodates up to 3 sets of tool combinations simultaneously.
“Since it became the exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland for the JWEI JCUT digital cutting tables, the energy, enthusiasm, and sales that CMYUK has attracted have been very impressive. We are delighted that the JCUT digital cutting tables will be featured at this significant UK trade event and are very happy that so many more customers are benefitting from the JWEI JCUT advantage,” said Edward Wang, CEO of Jingwei.
Throughout the show, CMYUK will demonstrate Fiery Prep-it software for the prep, layout, and automated production of print-for-cut jobs, improving pre-press efficiency and material savings. This package saves time and material with fast and easy cut path and layout preparation.
One of Prep-it’s most compelling features is its universal compatibility. It seamlessly connects to any RIP, printer, digital cutter, or router capable of processing PDF files. This bridges the gap between various equipment brands, allowing businesses to use their existing equipment to its maximum potential and significantly enhance production efficiency.
In addition to CMYUK product experts, specialists from Sheppex Asset Finance, who are well-versed in capital investments for wide-format print production, will be available to provide guidance on favourable financing options.
“For the last ten years, Sheppex has provided flexible finance solutions to CMYUK’s clients, enabling them to purchase leading printing equipment that will benefit their business for years to come.” Matthew Gilbert, Managing Director of Sheppex Asset Finance, said. “We are delighted to continue this great partnership with CMYUK at The Print Show, where we will be joining them on the stand, advising clients throughout the show on the best funding options when investing in new technology.”
Sue Hayward, Commercial Director, CMYUK, said, “We are delighted to support this year’s Print Show, the most significant and best-attended print industry event in the UK. Our participation underscores the event’s theme of ‘Print-without-barriers’, a perfect reflection of the exceptional Canon Colorado M series, the positive disruption of the JWEI JCUT digital cutting tables, and the innovative benefits of the Fiery Prep-it software. We eagerly anticipate connecting with long-standing friends and prospective customers at our stand.”
