The British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA) will have its own space in the Exhibitors’ Lounge on Stand E34 at The Print Show. Senior members and directors will be available to discuss various issues affecting the sign industry, and visitors can also learn more about the benefits of joining the Association.

Jack Gocher (l), editor of Eye on Display has joined the team at BSGA and Craig Brown, CEO of BSGA, will be at The Print Show

Craig Brown, CEO of the BSGA, says, “The Print Show is a fantastic opportunity to speak to people about our achievements, plans and ambitions as we move into a new era for the association. As an association, we feel some responsibility for the overall health of the sign industry and the business fortunes of our current and future members. The show allows us to communicate our achievements and plans and demonstrate the many benefits of being part of our community.”

The BSGA has also announced its intentions to grow its management team this year. Jack Gocher, editor of www.eyeondisplay.co.uk, is the first new appointment as Marketing Communications Manager. Jack will create a range of content for members and the industry, highlighting the association’s services, events and activities.

Jack says, “Through its members, the BSGA has an incredible store of knowledge, experience and expertise that it wants to share within the community. My role is to help the industry to better understand what the BSGA does and the benefits of being involved.”

The Print Show has always attracted many sign companies because there are plenty of exhibitors showcasing relevant products, particularly large-format printing solutions. “Looking at the choice of what is available to sign-makers can be quite daunting. The BSGA will be available throughout the show to offer a listening ear and some sound advice to help them grow and develop their business,” says Craig.

He adds, “We are keen to talk to people about the benefits of joining our trade association. The larger and more diverse we are, the more we are a voice for the industry. Our role is to offer advocacy and representation for our members to promote their best interests to governments, policymakers, regulatory bodies and specifiers.”

Craig concludes, “We also provide networking opportunities, technical resources, education and training designed to promote standardisation and best practices in the industry. We relish the opportunity to talk to as many people as possible at The Print Show.”
