Bespoke Laser UK upgrades to a Roland VersaOBJECT MO-240 UV Printer

printMAX has partnered with Bespoke Laser UK to upgrade their print capabilities with a Roland VersaOBJECT MO-240 UV flatbed printer

The Roland MO impressed Laura with its capabilities

Established in 2013 by Laura Rees, Bespoke Laser UK specialises in laser cutting, engraving, and UV printing, serving a diverse customer base across the UK. In 2017, Bespoke Laser introduced UV printing into their operations, and the recent addition of the Roland VersaOBJECT MO-240 UV flatbed printer complements their existing UV flatbed solutions, including Roland’s VersaUV LEF range.

Driven by growing demand and evolving customer needs, Bespoke Laser UK sought a printing solution that could boost production capacity while delivering superior print quality and versatility. The limitations of their existing Roland LEF A3 printers prompted the search for a more advanced solution.

At February’s Sign and Digital UK, Laura Rees discovered the Roland VersaOBJECT MO-240, the next evolution in Roland’s UV flatbed printer offering. This high-definition printer, known for efficiency and precision, impressed Laura with its capabilities, so she took the decision to invest there and then on printMAX’s stand, despite only planning to do some research on her visit. The printer was the perfect solution to advance Bespoke Laser UK’s offerings, and with limited stock availability due to high-demand, Laura did not want to miss out.

With the MO printer, Bespoke Laser is equipped to offer enhanced print options. “We’re excited to provide our customers with better opacity for white ink, a faster gloss option, and toy-safe inks,” shares Laura Rees. The move to a larger print size not only increases production capacity but also expands the range of print offerings from A3 to A2 format.

“We love Roland printers because they are designed with the end user in mind,” shares Laura Rees. The simplicity of Roland’s software and the straightforward operation of their machines have been key factors in Laura’s continued preference in manufacturer. “The available support for keeping our business running smoothly was also crucial in our decision to invest in more Roland UV printers,” she adds.

The transition to the Roland MO printer has unlocked a new level of productivity and versatility for Bespoke Laser. “The speed is brilliant!” exclaims Laura Rees. She appreciates the enhanced features of the MO, particularly the improved digital interface and overall operational design compared to their previous LEF machines.

Neil Foot, printMAX’s Business Development Manager, shared his enthusiasm for the MO’s advancements, stating, “The MO exceeds expectations with enhanced inks, cost-efficiency, and accelerated production speeds, ensuring superior output on diverse substrates.”

Michael Bolton, Managing Director at printMAX, echoed the sentiment, stating, “The LEF held a prime position among our offerings. The MO not only upholds those capabilities but enhances them significantly, promising to surpass the LEF’s popularity. Laura will be undoubtedly impressed with the improvements, especially running the new MO alongside the legacy LEF printers.”

Looking ahead, Bespoke Laser remains committed to flexibility and evolution. “Our plans will remain flexible; that’s what has sustained us for ten years,” reflects Laura Rees. With the backing of printMAX’s industry-leading support and Roland’s innovative technology, Bespoke Laser UK is set for continued growth and success.
